Hail (2 - 4 mm diameter) fell ca 3:45 to 4:05, with maximum ca 3:50; not enough to completely cover the ground. No damage was caused. This event was part of the extended weather system that swept up the eastern part of the U.S. and brought 6.4 inches of snow to this station by 8 AM. Fairly long (est. 15 - 20 sec) roll of moderate thunder to ESE at 3:59; Possibly also a briefer, more distant roll to NE at 4:07. |
