Observed recently algae on stones in ephemeral drain ditch stagnant puddle in back yard and tested nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, alkalinity and chlorine compared to tap water today. Measurable differences in chlorine and alkalinity and distinct aroma between the two water samples. Recent wind damage in the front yard leads to increased forecast monitoring and awareness for route planning and other routine activities.
