The South Fork of the Crow River between Glencoe and Silver Lake where County Rd 2 crosses it is back in its banks. It no longer is flooding an adjacent field. It's still rather high, but it's contained in its banks.
Many field crops are growing nicely. In a few cases where planting hadn't happened before the recent storms, planting has begun again. Also farmers are beginning to spray for weeds.
