Welcome, and thanks for visiting! The state of California joined the CoCoRaHS program in October of 2008, and has expanded to over 1000 volunteer observers as of spring 2020. We have volunteers from the near the Oregon border to the US/Mexico border, and from the Pacific coast to the Sierra Nevada. Although we have a good number of volunteers already signed up, CA is a big state with many "holes" in observers on the map.
